Let’s do life together!

Life Groups are all about bringing people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Life Groups exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.  We bring people together around a study, an outreach or an activity, but the beauty, in the end, is the relationships that are formed, and the community built.

HARVEST

LIFE GROUPS

God designed us for community. Whether you feel like a “people-person” or not, we all need each other. That’s why we have Life Groups, to find community that has the potential to change our lives. Just like most things, you won’t know until you try, so check out the directory and connect with a Life Group today!

LEADING A

LIFE GROUP

You don’t need to have it all together to lead a Life Group—you just have to be willing to let God use you as you take your next step. To host a group, you simply choose a topic that interests you and select a time and location to meet with others to share it. Then, we give you a few essential tools like first-time leader training, a directory where others can find your group, and support throughout the semester. We believe God uses Life Groups to change people’s lives, and as a Life Group leader, you get to be a part of that.

If you would be interested in leading a groups next semester, send us a message HERE.

Common Questions

what happens at a life group meeting?

You’ve probably seen Life Groups meeting and not even realized it. A life group looks like friends at lunch, teams playing basketball, or people studying a book or topic of interest. At its core, a life group is a small gathering of people, and it is less about what you do and more about who you do it with. By participating in Life Groups, you can expect to connect with others through a common activity, engage in life giving conversation and request prayer.

how often does a Life group meet?

Our Life Groups meet for four semesters a year—spring, summer, fall, and winter. During the semester, most groups meet once a week. Life Groups are meant to bring meaning and community into the flow of your life, so even if you can’t attend every meeting, there is still great value in joining a group.

where do Life groups meet?

UPDATE: Because of the current COVID-19 National Emergency, all LifeGroups will be meeting via Zoom Online Meetings for the Spring Semester. All information for these online meetings will be provided through the Groups Registration area & you can get in touch with your Group Leader(s) with any questions.

Life Groups happen throughout Florida in the homes and community surrounding each of our campuses.

how long does a typical life group stay together?

Most Life Groups meet for a semester. This way, new people can join groups easily and regularly. Also, the semester format allows you to try multiple groups each year.

is there childcare available?

Childcare varies from group to group. When you search our directory for a group, the group profile will indicate if childcare is available.

what if i don’t like the first group i try?

The truth is, not everyone will find the best fit with the first group they try. This is why we encourage you to select a few groups that interest you, contact the leaders and try out a couple different groups before choosing the best one for you. The simple strategy to finding success in Life Groups is to not give up. We believe there is a group that is right for everyone—including you!
